Our Named Endowed Scholarship program continues to grow, offering a record amount of scholarship dollars. As you will read, faculty and staff showed their support with 100 percent participation toward Phase II, a tremendous testament of their dedication and the demonstrated success of Phase I. Along with the Humility of Mary Center, the Marian Commons serves as a hub of the daily life of the school, matching learning modalities with learning environments. With the generous support of our benefactors, Phase II, the Marian Commons, is open and in full use by students this academic year. Together we gathered on September 20 to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Humility of Mary Center (formerly known as the Surround Learning Center). The many opportunities available to students are driven by the Mission, facilitated by dedicated faculty and staff, and made possible in great part through philanthropic support. Throughout the pages of this Honor Roll of Donors, you will read reflections from faculty and staff and how Mission has a very real and visible role at Magnificat each and every day. The theme for was Dignity of Work Who You Are, What You Do, How You Do It. On August 22, 2012, faculty and staff gathered for the annual Mission Day to reconnect and to reenergize for the school days ahead. 2 Dear Magnificat Community, Each year Sister Helen Jean Novy, Vice President of Mission, along with members from the Mission Committee, introduces a theme to begin the academic year.
